• Catalog Policies & Processes for Registration

    All aspects of registration including prerequisites, course permissions and restricted sections, full and part time statuses, and cancelled courses or sections is found in the catalog.

  • Cancelation and Leave of Absence

    Determining the right process depends on the timing of your decision. Students dropping all of their registered courses prior to the first day of the term will need to initiate the Cancelation process. Students dropping all of their courses after the first day of the term will need to initiate the Student Leave of Absence process.

    Holds ensure students have completed certain tasks or submitted required materials. Not all holds impede registration, so knowing the type of hold and who placed it is important.

    The Registrar's Office provides verification of enrollment (also called proof of enrollment) as requested by students, organizations, and businesses.

    The DMACC/Iowa State University Cross Enrollment Program provides full-time undergraduate students at both institutions the opportunity to enroll in one class, for credit, without paying tuition at the partner institution.
