  • Curriculum Management

    This team connects the dots for departments as functionality experts in creating new courses to offer as part of their curriculum and programs. The courses then get added to the annual course catalog. The university catalog features a massive amount of information about programs and policies for all of the campus audiences. 

  • Data Requests

    The Registrar's Data Team compiles data and information requested by internal and external customers. Completing a ServiceNow form is the preferred format to make the request. Need Link

  • FERPA

    The Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) ensures educational records are protected and affords rights surrounding a student's education records.

  • Graduation & Commencement

    Earning your degree is the single-most important goal for your time as a student at Iowa State. An advisor will assist you in understanding your degree requirements, but students have additional items to attend to as they near their graduation term. This team can help you navigate what you need to do as graduation draws near. This is also the best place to get information about ceremonies and events to celebrate your accomplishment!

    Getting enrolled in classes at Iowa State begins long before the first day of a semester. This team works with incoming, continuing or re-entering students and provides verification of enrollment once on campus.

  • Residency Classification

    This team assists students who request to be classified as an Iowa resident for admission and tuition purposes. They can help students understand the requirements and application process.

  • Tuition & Fees

    The Registrar's Office assesses Iowa State University tuition and fees that are approved by the Board of Regents, State of Iowa. Other university departments like Financial Aid and Accounts Receivable, apply federal financial aid and scholarships to a student's account or generate bills if there is an account balance.
