  • Tuition and fees are subject to change by the Board of Regents, State of Iowa.
  • Students enrolled in ONLY Distance Education programs are assessed tuition and a mandatory technology fee. If a student is also enrolled in an on-campus Program of Study, they will be assessed the activity, health, health facility fee, and technology fee in addition to tuition based on the student's residency. Please contact Iowa State Online if you have any questions regarding your distance tuition and fee eligibility.
  • Interactive Distance Education Alliance (IDEA) programs are eligible for the IDEA tuition rate.
  • Total cost of attendance is available on the Office of Student Financial Aid website.
